Eggs & Cheese Onion Cheese Pie 1 large sweet spanish onion 1/2 C. oleo, divided into 2 T. and 6 T. 3/4 C. grated sharp cheddar cheese 1 3/4 C. cheese flavor cracker crumbs 2 beaten eggs 1 C. milk 1/4 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 1/2 tsp. italian seasoning Peel onion, slice thin and seperate into rings. Saute in 2 T. oleo until soft. Stir in grated cheese. Crust: Combine cracker crumbs with remaining 6 T. oleo melted. Press into bottom & sides of 9" pan. Bake at 350 for 5 minutes. Place onion/cheese mix into shell. Combine eggs & milk and seasonings. Pour over onions. Bake at 375 fir 25-30 minutes or until filling is set.
