Foreign Dishes
Lasagne

Brown and drain 1 lb. ground beef. Add:

1 large can tomato
1 8oz. can tomato sauce
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. oregano
salt to taste

Simmer for 1 - 1 1/2 hours.

Cook 8 - 10 lasagne noodles. Place 1/2 noodles in 11x17" dish. Cover with 1/3 sauce and half of a 6 oz. package of mozzarella cheese, 3/4 C. small curd cottage cheese.
Repeat layers and end with sauce on top. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and bake at 350° for 30 min. Let stand 15 min. and serve (1 1/2 C. cottage cheese).
